The Poison of Learned Hatred

In the earliest moments of life, a child’s heart is pure, filled only with the light of innocence and love. In the innocent cradle, the soul is pure light,
With no color to distinguish the love it emanates,
But the cruel world, in insane shadow,
Sows hatred in a voice that endures.

Evil is learned, hard blindness,
In the bosom where love is desecrated,
And the child, who is united by pain,
Absorbs the poison in an obscure voice.

However, if love's gentle hand,
Guides the mind to the right path,
The lesson that enslaves is rejected.

The light that truth engraves is born,
In the open chest, pure affection,
And the learned hatred is paralyzed.
