In the path of the Lusiads, I trace this song,
Of Savimbi, in battle, with such bravery,
For free Angola, his constant charm,
In the dense jungle, where hope is planted.

In the crooked lines of destiny, astonishment,
He led with the tenacity that the soul sings,
In the cold war, a leader, therefore,
Through storms, the flag is raised.

Hero or villain, in the pages of history,
Each verse weaves his glory or pain,
Between bullets and dreams, his memory
Persists in nuances of courage and love.

Between whispers of peace and cries of war,
Savimbi, in verses, in the Angolan land,
Like Camões, who in battles ends,
Modern Lusiads, where the human saga.

Thus I end, in this Portuguese style,
With fiery rhymes, in the confused heart,
Savimbi, in the fight, never reclusive,
